DT ScanDoc - Minimum system requirements

The minimum hardware requirements for DT ScanDoc are the same as those for DT Max under which it will be run: a TWAIN compliant scanner capable of 300 DPI (dots per inch) - for more details and recommendations click here - and 1MB (12 pages at 75k per page) of additional hard disk space per taxpayer per tax year in your database location.

Note- Items not required:

• A dedicated machine is not needed, DT ScanDoc runs on any workstation with access to a TWAIN compliant scanner.
  
• A machine running a server operating system is not needed, DT ScanDoc runs on your desktop (workstation).
  
• An expensive SQL server and license is not needed, DT ScanDoc data files are stored as individual PDF files.
  
• Adobe Acrobat Standard or Professional is not needed, Reader or other PDF viewer is sufficient.
